I feel like with respect to Kerry, we are in 2005 when he couldn't quite advocate a timetable for withdrawal, but expressed a lot of skepticism. I just don't see him supporting this endeavor for much longer. And I DO wonder if his "middle ground" (between McChrystal and Biden) is not a waste of time. When even Tom Friedman is calling for a drawdown, I think the vital part of the war -- support at home -- is cratering.
