i know that for some of us mother's day is fraught with bs. so, best wishes to you all. i know we all gave our kids the best we had, even tho that might not have been enough.

I avoided the phone and all forms of communication with my family. Just couldn't deal with it. My dad and sister called. Still haven't listened to dad's message. I only leave enough room for one message, and I left it there, so my sis didn't get to leave a message but she left one on my facebook. I feel guilty for shutting her out but I didn't want to risk any unpleasant subjects coming up.

Anyway. I did call my mom today, and it was nice and perfunctory.
