Today is my 4th anniversary!!! |

That's right, on May 1, 2001, I had my first ever panic attack - god bless it!
My life has just been a barrel of laughs ever since. :silly:
What suggestions, if any, would you make regarding the celebration of this red letter day?

ive been diagnosed with ptsd, reacting all these years later to a horrific experience in 91. i had always considered myself a strong survivor. amazing the difference between now and before.
i recommend the book "radical forgiveness" it is helping me immensely. good luck to you.

I wish I could remember the exact day of the onset of my symptoms. It was in February and I was twenty years old, but I don't remember the exact date.
Maybe you could go out and do something nice for yourself on this day of the year. Maybe go out and have a nice dinner and do something with your loved ones. It's May 2 now. How did you spend the day yesterday?

I understand you. I started with them at age 17. Mostly I do not get them now as long as I stay on my medication and don't drink too much coffee.
Have you checked out Recovery Inc. ? That group helped me more then anything. They have a website and I signed up to get an email everyday with helpful insights about panic and moods. And they really do help.
Here is an idea for you: Be nice to yourself today. Forget cleaning and cooking, get a manicure or a pedicure or buy something for YOU.
God Bless
