Suicide is NEVER painless! |
|
Lately having that old feeling of wanting to kill myself. It certainly would save my parents a lot of money. But how does one kill oneself?
It is too painful physically. I don't own a gun and I don't want one they are too dangerous. Last couple of times I tried to tie a plastic bag over my head but I get too hot and anxious...

1. You need to speak to your psychiatrist about the suicidal thoughts |
|
From my dealings with suicidal thoughts I found that they just sort of came naturally as if I was thinking of the most mundane thing. But they are not natural. When your will to live is starting to be undermined you have serious problems. Do you have a good relationship with your psychiatrist? You need to be able to tell him/her anything. If they do not know that you are thinking of killing yourself, then there's nothing they can do to help make you better. Talk therapy is also a must if you are having suicidal thoughts. Do you see a psychologist?

We are concerned with members feeling very low, but DU members are not qualified to provide the help that might be needed. Here is the crisis hotline number 1-800-784-2433 to please call if you have no other professional support system available to you at all times.
