Tell me about Remeron. Anybody? |
|
Have been on 100mg/day dose zoloft for years--but the problem is anxiety--so new Doc. put me on 30 mg. Rem with a plan to wean off Z.
(The weight gain would be welcome, btw--I could use abother 10 lbs.)
Thanks, E

the weight gain was good for me. 5'6" 108 lbs, now 125 lbs. I have severe PTSD, and previously had night terrors, but now sleep through the night. good luck to you.

It can also cause weight gain and make you crave sweets.
I was on it for awhile and it helped me with the inability to sleep that I was having at the time.
It's considered a pretty solid anti-depressant, although its often used in combination with another for full effect. Many people like it.
I'm not really aware of any big problems with it. The biggest side effect is it's sleep-inducing nature, which is why its often used in the first place.

and immediately gained a LOT of weight ie. 30-40 pounds. I had to go off it because I was becoming downright FAT. I'm normally skinny as a rail. As soon as I went off it, I gradually went back down to normal weight (but never did lose that last 10 pounds).
