My mother in law is coming for a three day visit. |
|
First time in 11 years.
Like Doug, she's somewhat autistic. I'm already exhausted, just thinking about the next three days. And, that's an overreaction, I know.
I'm having trouble with good things happening lately. We're more secure than we've ever been -- so, lol, all my PTSD alarms are going off.
"Don't get complasent. Don't let your guard down."
I'm sitting here in an internal DITHER because this 85 yr old lady took me up on my invitation. Cleaning everything, even the phone.
Went to her hotel and put flowers and candy on her bed to greet her.
Geezelouize, I just can't HAVE nice things.
So nice to be able to just say. Thank you, DUers.
:hi:

3. Lol, Beth, I really sympathized until at the end of your post..... |
|
.......Went to her hotel..........
Lordie, that makes ALL the difference between exhaustion and going batty....:D
When my dear parents used to visit me for several weeks, I was always most grateful when they took a little side-trip somewhere to give me a break.
Enjoy the visit!
