The rational/intellectual me doesn't want to think that he picked THIS weekend on purpose;

while the paranoid/depressed me thinks 'well of course he picked this weekend. I'm changing meds so I'm in the midst of reducing dosage on the fluoxetine and prior to beginning the new stuff.

So I'm particularly emotional.

Of course the fact that he just moved out has absolutely nothing to do with it, eh?

sorry, little bit of airplane popping up there.
i think that people think that taking a pill will make it better, right away, and everything will be hunky dorey. (sp?) did he think this? did he understand your situation? was he "in on" what you are going through?
it is hard on us loved ones, especially when the professionals involved are not inclusive and helpful. which, mostly, they are not.

thinking!

He's been invited numerous times to come to counseling with or without me. The same or a different counselor. Anything. Something.

I can't tell you how many times over the years he's SWORN he'd get into counseling if we could "just start over" - but he never goes.

His motto is "ignore it and it'll all go away" or "fake it til you make it".

(In reality it's, 'hey it's not MY problem, it's all YOUR fault!" lol)

don't know if anyone will ever know unless he tells you, but that sounds like a very good reason to be emotional.

The timing for you is bad, but it might not have ever been good even on new meds. It sounds like you are hurting and all I really got to offer you is a :hug: and try to send you good vibes... aka I'm thinking about you.

Hey, I can help with the dreams, not the dogs, and can't take away the pain/anger/hurt, but I can send you some hugs, vibes, and love!
