I'm still having a rough time. I have no one now.

But it was my choice to cut off family. I'm glad I did because their input was invariably toxic, but now I'm very, very lonely. I haven't seen a soul in days and my voice is suffering from underuse.

I like to sing, but I find I can't practice two days in a row anymore. I don't talk to anyone.

My birds' and snakes' cages need cleaning, but I find I can't do it. First, I'm not motivated. Second, I'm afraid I'll hurt myself.

Also, the laundry needs doing but last time I did it I ended up in bed for three days. I never know when I'm going to stress something. Geez, I'm running out of clean underwear.

I'm really down this time. I wonder if I can get up. I need someone to help me with the physical things. Two--or was it three?--doctors have recommended In-Home Health Services, but Medi-Cal won't approve it. So, I live in squalor.

I've read of your conflicts with your family. It's a shame that there's no way you could patch things up enough to get some help from them. I know if I were your folks I wouldn't let my loved one live like that.
