sorry that the kiddo is in the middle, but i understand when people just have to draw the line, and say 'no more'. i hope that you can be helpful in keeping the kid in touch with her grandparents. but maybe in the end your sister will learn something from being forced to accept the consequences of her behavior including, sadly, seeing her daughter broken hearted.
do what you can. but life is unfair, for sure.

3. Stories like this make me glad my family isn't close.

We get along and all, but we all know we're totally different and adjust accordingly. Sorry you have to deal with these things. I've come to the conclusion that families are there to make sure we have the right amount of stress in our lives, i.e. the amount that crushes our will to live.

Other than that, families are great. :eyes:
