Thank you to everyone that responded to my post earlier this week.

I saw a counselor yesterday and he is putting me in touch with a psychiatrist to help me with my meds and with a therapist for counseling.

I cannot thank you enough for all of your kind words. They helped guide me through a very dark spot and have allowed me to see a bit of brightness. I hope that at some point I am able to pass on the kindness.

1. I'm so glad to hear that you're doing this.

I was terrified of getting help, and it took my wife leaving me before I realized that I needed it, and needed it bad. It was too late to save my marriage, sadly, but I'm very glad I did get the help I needed. I had to hit rock bottom before thinking to look up.

Therapy isn't easy, and they'll be picking at some scabs you may not want picked at, but it's worth it. Good luck. :hug:
