the Russian Revolution could have been avoided?

1. If he had been willing to move towards democracy...
...yes it could have probably been avoided. But early on he turned his back on it and set himself and Russia on its path.

the revolution might have been avoided. If one wants to rule as an autocrat, they need to be made of more sterner stuff.
