I glanced it over a few weeks ago, but was put off by its small size (really large print in a small paperback).
The movie looks interesting, and I really like Gaiman's work. I couldn't tell definitively from the book if it was an adaptation of the movie or visa versa.

2. I thought the ads looked terrible. |
|
But I didn't know it was Gaiman. Gaiman's pretty good.

3. The book is sweet, from what I remember. It's a great fairy tale |
|
and I think the movie looks pretty good. The story has some plot points that are kind of gruesome, so check out the book or at least movie reviews before hand before bringing kids.

very low budget, but a good interpretation of the book. Netflix has it.
On edit, yeah the television mini came first, before the novelization. What can I say, it's late.

5. I'll see it eventually. |

I get very few opportunities these days to go to movies with just adults; most movies you don't take a 7yo to will be viewed when they come out on pay per view.
