2. It's just been released in Sydney. |
|
I saw it in a local bookshop, then checked the library because I haven't read anything else by this author. They don't have it, so I've been thinking about buying it, because it looked interesting.

3. I think it is a great book and was |
|
disappointed that talk of the sequel just petered out. Maybe it took so long to complete the first book everyone decided to drop the second one. If memory serves me it took over 5 years to finish the first.

I was on a long waiting list, getting it from the library, and finally got the chance to read it.
Recommend it? YES. One of the best I've read in a long time from a new author.
I worked my way through the 660-something pages in 2 days. It was well worth the time. Good enough that I immediately rushed to my computer to see what's going on with the next installment; it will be out next spring. Six months to wait. I can do that. Meanwhile, I'm passing it on to my son to read before I return it to the library.
