I am going to be an UNCLE !!!

Hello DU!
DU poster mdmc is going to be an uncle! I am very excited!
My sister and her husband are expecting an ELECTION DAY BABY (Nov. 6th, 2005). We don't know the gender yet, but will in time. Again, I am very excited.

I have already telephoned my limited number of friends (family already knows). I need to tell someone, so I thought that I would post at DU.

I'm an aunt myself, with two nieces and one nephew.

My stepbrother- who I really like- is having a kid. Since I cannot stand babies or little kids, I might have to avoid him until he gets a little older. I do like some kids, though, and I hope my nephew will be one of them.

I was an aunt at age 4 (I'm closer in age to my niece than my next oldest sibling). Late 30's, and now have 9 nieces/nephews, and 3 great nieces and 1 grand nephew.

I wish I would have been an adult when they started coming...I would have so enjoyed them more.
