For just a little while. Pass the garlic.
Do energy vampires feed on you?

But there was one.... she always had some type of drama about her. She would hang out with this one girl she didn't like, and then complain about it later. :wtf: And I got to be on both sides since I liked them both. Yay me. :eyes: But now I don't see her since we live on opposite sides of the campus and have different majors. Yay me! :D

It is good you could spend a few ounces of energy with me.
Boy I had a nice day so far building energy. Went to the clinic for a blood draw where the draw-er and the draw-ee (me) discussed vampires.
I told her (the draw-er) "I would starve if I were a Vampire." She laughed said "Why Ed?" I smiled wide and showed her; "I have no teeth."
So that was most of my exciting thing of my day until I got home and my ex-daughter-in-law knocked hard upon our door and then she drew the energy from me. So much in fact I am having a hard time typing this out- I am growing weaker and weaker.
But at least I am alone now, except for you of course.
Good luck to you; Jokers to the right of you jokers to the left of you Dillon once said? And you are stuck in the middle.
I think. (Sigh)

My favorite energy vampire moved to Hawaii last year. I love the girl, she's a peach, but she's all drama, drama, drama, all the freaking time (at 40-years-old no less), no let up.
Limiting the communication to an occasional email is a lovely, lovely thing.

how to avoid these types altogether, but sometimes you are in work or other situations where it's hard to get out of their orbit. Then you just have to be hard-nosed and consciously set boundaries. What's an energy vampire? A person who demands much time and attention but never gives an ounce of it back. (HOW did they get that way? Probably various ways--see different categories of Narcissism). Cut these people loose. Do not try to rehab them, is my advice.

ranting monologue with that woman. I could even tune her out at times. But her dysfunctional desire to create and live with drama just bugs the crap out of me. And she stirs up so much crap!! I won't even go there. IT's just too much and I just came from the den of madness. I'm thoroughly wiped out.
