And I hate it.

Lonely was something I never felt until dealing with past abuse issues head on instead of ducking them. For 3/4 of my life, I *wanted* to be alone, and was, except for friends, and was content with it. I've watched my friends, my family, fall in love, and many divorce and said, 'thank god that's not me.'

I'm glad I'm finally experiencing it, just ... ouch.
