The World's Worst Counterfeiter

There was a guy once who printed up a batch of $18 bills. His friend said, "You're crazy - you'll NEVER be able to pass them!!" The counterfeiter said, "I've got that all figured out - I'll take them up into the hills, where I should have no trouble getting rid of them."

So he headed for the hills, and stopped at a General Store. He walked inside and saw the clerk sitting next to a pot-bellied stove. He said, "Hey, pops - ya got change for an eighteen dollar bill?"

"Shur thing", said the clerk as he got up, walked over to the counter and rang open the old manual cash register. "Whaddya want? Two nines, or three sixes?"
