Is there such a thing as a lock-picking kit ?

The chick upstairs from me is never home, but her a/c is on full blast - hasn't stopped running for more than a few minutes time - over the last TWO WEEKS and sounds like a helicopter is parked on my bedroom ceiling.

GAWD !!!! I need some sleep!!!

Maintenance claims nothing's wrong with it. :wtf:

but I've always had a flair for drama.

In the meantime, I've found a box fan an essential item to drown out ambient noise. I used one for many years because I worked 12 hour night shifts, and that fan would drown out all ordinary noise during the day that might have kept me awake.

Or use earplugs. The soft rubber ones they sell in hardware stores are quite comfortable.

I agree with H2S.....breaking and entering is a serious beef. Maybe you can turn her in to Homeland Security and ask them to turn the air off while they are doing their sneak-and-peek.
