| Anyone here ever bought a Main Street home? (Texas) |
|
They build cute homes here that are really affordable.
Any horror stories? Positive feedback?

| 2. My mom has one down in Manor. |

Affordable, but it's built in a shit area, and I think she's already regretting her decision. Because of the affordability of the homes, the homebuyers have been very iffy. I'm pretty worried about some of her neighbors.
Some have already turned these homes into rentals, and the neighborhood is going down fast. As far as the house itself, I know she just had to have her fluorescent fixture in the kitchen replaced, and she's only been in there about 3 years or so.

The one I'm looking at is close to downtown Austin (east).
Now I'm scared...I'm going to post this in the lounge and see if I can get more feedback.
