| another cabinet question. baseboards. |
|
ok, the plasterer will be here saturday or monday. so, i need an answer to this cabinet question, and i don;t have a cabinet guy yet- one of the rooms we are doing has baseboards with 100 years of paint. i have stripped most of the other woodwork in these 2 rooms, but not touched these. there will be base cabinets on these same walls. so, it would be better to just pull this trim off, and let the plasterer finish out the walls, no?

Custom built in cabinets will be installed flush. I would remove the molding . the finish look will be the kick plate ,sometimes matching cabinet molding is added to complete the decorative finish look.Sure remove the molding .
