OK...like so many others before me, building a website has proven a daunting task.
My website will have no "blogs" or "forums" It is an information site that will post news stories and links to sites with job ads and educational opportunities. I visualize three collumns the first one labeled jobs...the next labled education and the next labled news.
The collumns will provide a list of different resources that you can click on that will take you to a dedicated page that you can learn about jobs/scholarships offered and a link to take you to the website (outside) where the jobs etc are offered.
What is the best language or software to use for this? Any ideas or insights would be appreciated...

1. Try something simple first |

This tool is about as easy as it gets. Install it in a site with a mysql database, follow a few simple instructions and you have your basic site. If you don't like the tool, you'll have spent no money for the software, and hopefully little time.
