was my response to an inquiry last night at my favorite tavern. The guy in question is a familiar face and had recently matched up with a young lady in our trivia group. (good for you! ) He was asking me about getting me hooked up with a young lady at the tavern. I asked, "how many dark-skinned faces do you see in here?" He had to stop and think. He said, "I never thought about that." I said, "now you see my point. Remember that not many in here would entertain the thought of a dark-skinned boyfriend." He said, "I see everyone as an individual." I said, "I'm sure you do. Most people don't." He said,"wow, I never thought of that." I said, "that's okay, it's nothing you have to live with."
