I recently started attending a Unity Church and heard about "A Course in Miracles." I was raised Catholic and had never heard of it before. I would be interested in hearing whether any of you read the book, participated in discussion groups, etc. If you have, did you find it helpful to you in your life and spiritual quest?

| 1. I know a couple of people who are really into it, but |
|
I don't know much about it. I think there's a website about it.

| 2. I haven't taken the course but know people who have |

and they can't say enough good things about it. A year and a half ago, my uncle came to visit me just after taking the course and seemed absolutely radiant! He still keeps encouraging me to take it. My mother took it years ago and still applies it as much as she can.
I guess it's just two books that you read daily and try to follow. But there are workshops, etc. held all over. I'm near Temecula, CA, their headquarters and where they hold the seminars, etc. I'm thinking of getting the books and giving it a try and if I like it, I may attend a workshop or seminar there. I'll let you know what I think when I do and I'd love to hear if you ever take it and what you think.

It's a book supposedly channeled to a psychic by Jesus. You can buy the book, and if you don't understand it, you can pay extra for the Holy Spirit to interpret it for you.
Suffice to say, I'm skeptical.
