I just finished watching "The Second Chance."

I couldn't resist; I bought the DVD over the Thanksgiving holiday.

And yes, I know Michael W. Smith is a republican *heavy sigh* BUT he did very well with this movie. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt when I learned one of his favorite books was "Wisdom Hunter" by Randall Arthur. I liked that book. And I loved Steve Taylor in the 80s (this is his movie). So.....

ANYWAY: Aside from the slightly cheesy ending, the movie is very good. I recommend it, especially if you have conservative Christian friends who attend predominately white suburban megachurches. Invite them over for a viewing and watch them squirm uncomfortably (be warned, you may as well).
