Personally, I NEVER go into R & T, because I get enough of that shit in real life. And I don't need some young twit telling me that I'm delusional, believe in fairy tales, or worship a flying spaghetti monster. I've sorted that out years ago, and am very comfortable in where I'm at right now.

that Christians could nest together somewhere in the DU groups. Grateful for that. Yeah, in that R&T group, the hatefulness is so thick you could cut it with a knife. From what I observed, there are some very unhappy people over there.

Other good places are the Catholic group (if you're into that kind of thing) and the "Seekers On Unique Paths" (SOUP)if your into just about anything else.

R/T is a cesspool. I have a rule not to post there. I break that rule occasionally, but it's a good rule.

You know, if and when I see Christians attacking other groups, it makes me ashamed. But, in the R/T group, it gave me the impression that even to speak "Christ or Christian" was an offense in and of itself. Never again for me, either. Posting there was like tossing some meat between starving wolves waiting to lunge at a newbie. It made a lasting impression on me. lol

I discovered this great group a while back when the anti-Christian
crap was flying left and right in GD.

Disgusted, I came looking for this group and found it.

It's really nice to have a group where you are free to state
you are a Christian without all the crap immediately flying
at you from every direction.

8. It was a refresher course

in how and when to avoid trouble on the internet. Don't say anything remotely contentious, anywhere or anytime. It was more about ego than discussion. It was about someone's need to "win" and "to vanquish".
