1. And to everyone else on this forum!

Just came from our Easter Vigil. It was long, with six baptisms, and a few people didn't really pick up their cues, but all in all, it was a very moving experience, with the first half by candlelight.

2. Good! Someday I'll make an Easter Vigil.

Hopefully, I'll go to Church tomorrow...

4. I'm just glad our vigil is at night

At my previous parish, our assistant priest had the bright idea of having the Easter vigil with choir at 6:30AM. We grumbled, but decided it would be okay--but then we realized that Easter was the first day of daylight savings as well, so the service was really at 5:30.

Well, like good sports, we showed up, along with a congregation of three.

And that was the end of the early morning Easter vigils. :-)

6. The women arrived at the tomb the first thing in the morning.

They found the tomb empty.

Therefore, Jesus rose sometime during the night. :evilgrin:
