I envy your being near the water (beach?) - lots of great birds there.

2. It's an Osprey.
It is nice and relaxing. I went out later in the Kayak to get some better pics of other osprey in the neighborhood but the kayak wasn't the most stable platform for crisp shots. I'll have to work on it.
