A Tres Maria Amazon. I had nothing to do with it being in captivity, and more or less rescued it. It had been imprisoned at these people's house for years, because it was so fricking mean. Put me in a cage and yell at me and I'll not only get mean, I will hurt you! I traded them a young hand raised blue and gold macaw for it, thinking it should be in a breeding program. A few days later, Doctor Harwell, Houston's best avian vet at the time saw it sitting on my shoulder at the Pasadena show. That bird loved me! The Doc said that's the third Tres Maria I've seen in my years of practice! I traded it into a breeding program.
