I know you guys aren't big fans of the scale.... |
|
... but today, my scale said something it hasn't said in years. It said I weigh less than 200 lbs.
I had my surgery back in September, and lost a lot of weight fast, and then nothing, for months. It was getting a bit depressing.
Apparently, this exercise-based metabolic change takes a few weeks to really kick in, because here it is 3+ weeks since I started, and today is the first noticeable change on the scale.
I may just have to be happy all day. I can live with that.

1. That's great, MissMillie! |
|
You should be very, very proud of yourself. Using that scale today will be a big boost for you, and should help you maintain your momentum and general kick-ass-ness. Now, put the scale in the closet, and don't take it out again until you notice some additional change (like going down a clothing size).
