Wednesday4/27: I worked out today--did you?
Today I'm feeling marvelous. My thigh didn't give me one bit of trouble as I ran 2.0 miles (NON-STOP) and then proceeded to the strength equipment room for upper body and ab work.

To top it off, I'm having a really good hair day, so I'm feeling awesome, and (don't mind if I say so myself) looking pretty darn good too.

It's a shame the sun isn't out today. Well, at least I'm feeling it inside.

1. Not yet today, but I went yesterday
With the intention of running a quick 2 miles. Unfortunately, I got a very intense "stitch" early into the run that affected me the whole time. I had to stop and walk several times.

Pretty dissappointing, felt like a waste of time.

Beautiful day here. It was nice to check out the spring gardens.

Hope to boulder later.

My hair is only average.

4. Glad you're feeling better
My mom just got a Pilates reformer (both she and my dad have been doing Pilates for physical therapy). So I'm going to go over there and check it out! :woohoo:

I'll probably go for a short run later. :hi:

8. You're awesome!
MissMillie, you are an inspiration! Today, I was feeling blah, but you inspired me to get past my blahs and do something! I overslept, and was about to do nothing, but I felt compelled to do a 2 mile walk at lunch. Thank you! :-)

11. Thanks vikegirl!
I swear, for me the hardest part is always getting out of bed. After that, it's all routine for me now.

I love being in bed. Soft mattress, warm blankets, and usually a kitty or two to keep my company.

I mean, why would ANYONE want to get out of bed, right?

But once I'm up, I put my gym clothes on, grab my gym bag (which is already packed w/ my work clothes, etc.) and drive to work. My gym is here at work, so you can see where I have a bit of an advantage there.

Keep up the good work vikegirl!

9. Missed my workout today due to work
I'll try to make up for it today by "attempting" to double my run. This will be interesting. I'll take my phone to dial 911 when I pass out and die.

10. Upper back and lats day.
I had a good conversation with one of the gym's trainers today. We don't see eye to eye politically (Bush 04 sticker compared to my DU and Kerry/Edwards one at election time). Funny...he has since removed his sticker. I haven't.
