Have any of you tried the following?
Burn the Fat-Feed the Muscle (BFFM) by Tom Venuto or Combat Conditioning by Matt Furey?

BFFM is an ebook for $40 which seems like a lot to me. Maybe I'm cheap or old-fashioned, but if I'm spending $40 for a book I want a hard copy.

If anyone has any experience or feedback on either one, I'd like to hear your comments.

TIA

1. Don't know Venuto but have heard of Furey
A lot of Furey's stuff seems similar and slightly ripped off from Pavel Tsatsaline(sp) over at dragondoor.com. Unfortunatley most of Pavel's books are pretty expensive too.
What is it that you are looking for?

2. Matt Furey: Repuke wingnut
They guy advertises on GOPUSA, the group behind Jeff Gannon and Talon News.

Go for Pavel Tsatsouline's "Naked Warrior" book. I have several of his books and all are well-written, humorous, and worth the money.

i was just looking for some bodyweight exercises and found other sources that are as good or better (including pavel's).

thanks for the feedback everyone.

3. Alot of good diet books are inexpensive
like Body-for-Life or The Abs Diet. These are solid "non-fad" diets that make exercise a focal point of the diet. Good luck.

6. I haven't read either....
but here's a discussion of the Venuto book from another forum that I frequent:

Here's a discussion on other fitness books from the same forum:

Hope that helps!
