Thursday, 8/4: I worked out today did you
I had to bring my car to the mechanic this morning, and of course I needed to leave it. So I jogged home. It is about 3 miles.

Ab muscle feels better, but still not 100%.

What's up w/ you boys/girls today?

1. I did an aerobic video & yoga today.
My shoulder is feeling better, but I'm still afraid to start lifting weights again.

2. Yes.
I couldn't believe it but I got up and swam my mile. Due, in no small part, to the fact that I wanted to be able to tell you that I had. So this group is a good help to me!

3. Glad your muscle is better
I'm down in Texas in sweltering heat, so it's doubtful I'll be getting in much exercise at all other than doing some yoga & Pilates here in the a/c. :hi:

4. Yup. 2 mile walk
And I'm wondering if I shouldn't put that on a shelf for a little while. My knees are still hurting after three days of not jogging.

But I was looking forward to my walk today and I think that is a good sign. When you start looking forward to exercise you must be doing something right.

11. You may need to strengthen your knees before expecting too much from them.
My knees were buckling on me, so I spoke to the trainer at the gym and he helped me with some exercises that seem to be helping. (Squats and roman dead-lifts, mostly, but he does have me using the leg extender machine too).

If it's joint related, I suggest investing in a bicycle, or a swim suit.

5. Muscle conditioning
The upper body portions of Power Hour.

Last night I did those 200 lunges, but could only manage 150 squats. Even though I did them unweighted, my legs are screaming today (but it's a good burn!:o ).
