I just worked up a hell of a sweat... |
|
cleaning my apartment from top to bottom, how many calories do you think that burned? It felt like a good work out.

1. I always get sweaty when I clean house, too |
|
I don't know how many calories you burned, but I bet it was a significant amount.

2. Calories burned is less of a function of activity than |
|
it is a function of intensity and weight.
You can walk a mile and run a mile and burn the same number of calories.
You can walk for 20 minutes and run for 20 minutes and you will burn more calories running because you will travel a greater distance.
A person who weighs 200 lbs. and walks a mile will burn more calories than one who weighs 125 lbs. and walks a mile.
Metabolic rate figures in there too...
