Monday, 12/19: I worked out today. Did you? |
|
After a long hiatus, I went for a morning swim today. I was relieved my body did not utterly revolt. I hope some of you others have good workouts. I don't feel like I'm the best one to start the thread, but it is noon on the coast so here I go. :hi:

Hope to go five times this week.
Someday, someday, I will get through a class without feeling dizzy or like I'm going to puke. :D

Is everyone required to be a Hollywood clone? Do you bring your own electric blanket? Is it for those of us going through... Power Surges?

It's yoga done in a heated and humidified room. The theory is that since the entire room is so warm, you'll be more flexible and it'll be easier to do the poses. Which I find to be true. Also, all of that sweating is good for you -- helps detox the body. It's an incredibly intense workout, though -- I've been going for three weeks and I have yet to get through an entire class without feeling like I'm going to puke or pass out. But I just take a break when I need to and I get through. Plus, it totally kills your appetite -- can't eat much before and can't eat much after. So I've lost like 5 pounds in the last 3 weeks. Bonus! :)
