2. Another good start to the week for me!
Twenty minutes of aerobics on the elliptical and then about 40 minutes of upper body strength training.

Plus I parked way down the hill from my campus so I had a nice hike uphill pulling my wheeled book case. It sure feels good, both physically and mentally, to exercise!

4. first day back at the gym!
little crowded, but you can't argue with a free "Y" membership through work...

did abs first: one set each of crunches, bent leg knee raises, oblique V-ups, bridge, and back extensions.

then did two circuits of the following: dumbbell squat (my favorite squat, since it closely approximates picking up two buckets of dirt, something that comes up from time to time in my line of work), dumbbell bench press, military press, pulldown, tricep pushdown, leg extension, upright row, biceps curl, and leg curl.

felt pretty good to be back in the gym. It's been a while, but I didn't feel like I lost much progress - my muscle memory must be pretty good, plus I've been doing some bodyweight exercises the week before to "wake" them up.
