when you're not working and you have an empty nest and you have few family, social, or household obligations. ;)

Or when you work from home, on a freelance schedule...
When I was working, and had a child to care for, we made exercise a family thing: During the summers, Kidlet, her dad and I walked to the park that was a mile away after dinner, and he and I walked and chatted while she wore herself out on the park toys, 3 or 4 days a week; her dad and I also both fence, so we practiced together and trained the kid. During the winters, we fenced whenever the weather permitted (not something to do in a house with low ceilings) and did family calisthenics or tai chi. We had to make it a family priority.

It need some service, but all is go now. I started watching the Chappelle Show season DVD today while I ellipticalled, but it was too funny and I nearly fell off. But other than that minor mishap, it is going ok. Got to find a way to squeeze in more strength..... The days are too short.

I never thought of "too funny" as a hazard of some DVDs!
