2. I reorganized my workout |
|
as advised by helpful posters on my thread yesterday. I did five minutes of warming up on the elliptical, then did my BFL lower body workout, then finished with 45 minutes on the elliptical and I made sure my heartrate was in the fat-burning zone for my age.
I really like this plan. One, I normally dread the elliptical due to the boring nature of it. But I look forward to exercising more knowing that I'll get right into the strength training, which I really enjoy. Second, onces I'm all revved up from the strength training, I really like the elliptical as I'm in that mood where I don't want to stop!
My session did last an hour and a half today and I don't have that kind of time all at once during the week. But I think I'll do the strength training in the morning before school and maybe I can talk myself into doing the elliptical for 45 minutes in the afternoon when I get home.

3. Logged another four miles |
|
but now it is the workweek where it is hard to find time to run since it gets dark so early and I rarely get back home from work before 5:00.

4. I've missed posting here the last few days. |
|
Today was leg day again. Moved up in weight on the hamstring curls 20 pounds for a full set of reps, then upped it another 20 for 8. High point of leg day is still the calf portion of the workout.
