Can you live with this????
Blood Pressure: Systolic: <140 Diasolic <90 Diet: Cholesterol <200 mg/day Total fat: 45-65 g/day (20-30% of calories) Saturated fat 10-15 g/day (7% of total calories) sodium <2400 mg/day!!!
Cholesterol: Total <160 Triglycerides <150 HDL >40 LDL <70
This is driving me nuts!!!! It's really hard to keep the sodium out of the diet, fats aren't that much of a problem...
What are yours?

to get out of your diet if you cook most of your own food.
I've used lots of fresh herbs and some condiments to make up for the little salt. Some good substitutes:
- vinegar - mustard - lemon - hot peppers (experiment and see how hot you can go! :D )
I also use the sodium-lite soy sauce on occasion. I use fish sauce (a staple of Thai and Vietnamese cookery) very sparingly.
edit: Your bp still seems high.

3. Here comes the unpopular vote... |

Dump eating meat. The cholesterol goes bye-bye, fat takes a dive, etc.
The last time I had my cholesterol taken, they took it twice thinking it was in error...
My diet goals? To continue as I am, and reach a 495 lb. bench press.
BTW...405 went up and down easy.
Sodium is tough as it's so prevalent.
