Thursday, 5/18: Day off--man, oh, man, I am SORE! |
|
So I tell the trainer that I feel like I've hit a plateau. He shows me some new things to try.
Today I can hardly walk. OUCH!!!!
I'm taking today off. I'll try to make up for it with a jog on Saturday.
How are you folks doing?

Early morning 13 1/2 mile bicycle ride, then to the gym for legs and back. Don't think I'll get any free weights done at home today.
Spoke with a young man in gym today about the leg extension machine hurting my knees right below the knee cap, usually at reps # 8, 9, and 10. We looked at seat position, that was ok. We decided the weight was not too heavy. he asked how many I was doing, answered 5 to 10 sets of 10 reps. He rolled his eyes and suggested I stop at 8 reps - when it begins to hurt. Makes sense to me.
