Monday 6/26: I worked out today--did you? |
|
Hi gang :hi:
I did a lengthy ab workout in the strength equipment room, and then moved to the cardio equipment room for 40 minutes on the elliptical machine.
How did you guys all make out this fine Monday morning?

1. I'll be doing a run this afternoon |
|
probably, unless something comes up that I have to deal with with the house. I really want to train myself to get up in the morning to run before work, but I've not had much luck with that so far.
On the home front. The hardwood floors are being refinished so we can't walk on them until Wednesday evening. That makes things difficult b/c we have to be out of our apartment Friday. It's going to be a tough week.

5. I ran 2 miles with the pup |
|
I kept up my target time again too!
move home date still set for Friday. 1st coat of polyurethane went down on the floors today. Scheduled gas and cable reconnection for Friday.
If I wasn't on a little runner high, i'd feel really anxious about it!

i don't post here too often. i feel like my short yoga routines aren't "up there" with some folks 5 mile runs, and all. for me, they are. a short routine when i feel like shit IS a big accomplishment. and a big help. i joined the y again, but the "machine room" is being remodeled. should be done soon, tho. i am trying to talk my former workout buddy into taking a yoga class with me. i could use a broader knowledge so that i can "work around" aches and pains. so i am looking forward to the class. hope to get in some lifting, too. enjoying my occasional bike rides, except the one that i took a week ago sunday. nice crash, and still got the aches and bruises. maybe a stationary would be a little safer.
