Wednesday, 8/2: I worked out today--did you? |

:hi:
Today I did 65 minutes on the elliptical machine (and burned > 650 calories in the process)
I'm going on vacation for the next 12 business days. My gym is at my job, which is 45 miles from my house. If the weather is good (no rain and not too hot) I'll try to get some exercise outdoors. I may try to come in to the gym once in a while too, but honestly, being w/o the commute is part of the vacation.
Anyway, if you don't see me around, that's what's up.

Did pretty well but could tell I was slowing for the last quarter mile or so. Strength was good. I'm happy with heartrates and stuff. Abs day off.

The heat index is 115 today (100 deg F and humid), so I am keeping my asthmatic lungs indoors.
ON the plus side I have been back working out regularly, using my 24 kg kettlebell. I just need some cooler weather...

I do have a door on my office and could use the loading dock, but to be honest this is really a rest day for me - preplanned due to the weather. The kettlebell is seriously kicking my ass so downtime is necessary. I'll raise my heart rate later playing with my almost-three-year-old :-)
