Deadlifts to 280. Will try to get on the bike for a short ride tonight.

1. What is the rep scheme for your deadlifts?
I'm just starting to do DL's and wondering the best way to build it up.

2. I've switched it around a few times
Right now its a simple 4X5 - 135, 205, 255, 2XX started out at 265 and been adding 5# each week. When I want to go for a PR I change to doing 3reps, 2,2,1,1,1 starting out at 135(because I don't have to switch out the 45# plates).

When I first started I did a routine that was originally posted at Dragondoor by Garm. I put it in a spreadsheet so you could enter your current PR and it would generate a 16 week peaking program that gave you what you should attempt at a meet(or in my case just trying a new PR). I can't find the original article anymore but if your interested I can email you the spreadsheet.
