So I haven't been posting, but I've been working out.
30 minutes on the elliptical every weekday morning. Weekend mornings I hit the weights and do the same 30 minutes of cardio.

I haven't been this skinny in a LONG time. :bounce:

1. How long have you been following that routine?
I mostly work out in the late afternoon. I'm starting to wonder if I should try getting out of bed early and going in the morning.

3. morning makes a huge difference IMHO
because if you haven't eaten yet, then you're burnin energy that is stored in fat, not from your food you just ate.

It's debatable about the "after-burn" effect of continuing to burn calories after you excercise. The idea is if you work out in the morning, you will burn more throughout the day.

5. Sorry I've let this lie for so long.
I've been working out in the morning for about 6-7 months now. I really miss it when I don't get out of bed. I feel sluggish. Late afternoons, the gym is too crowded.

4. Same here - and I do a similar routine
20 minutes elliptical, 20 minutes lifecyle 3x a week followed by core exercises and strength training.

I may have bursitis in my shoulders so I'm holding off on upper body til I see doctor next week.

Do you keep track of how many miles you do on the elliptical? My goal is everytime I get up to 2 miles I move up a level. Tonight I move up to level 6.

6. I don't keep track of miles, but I use the interval setting.
At elevation 4 - level 7 for two minutes. At elevation 10 - level 8 for two minutes. I alternate those two for the 30 minutes.

9. The thing that I find is good about going to the gym tho
Is if you go to the gym - then you do it.

I think if I had something in my house I'd always find ways to avoid it.

Altho I do go outside to the park and practice pitching and fielding - altho that's fun for me - so - who knows?

We do have a treadmill even tho our apt. is tiny. But I don't like the treadmill much.
