Daily Exercise Thread 2/28/05
Ok, I'm back. And I brought my comfy shoes to work and went for a walk at lunch today. Yaaaaay! And I'm down three pounds 'cause I've been sticking to my diet.

Soon I'll really need to kick it up a notch: go from "mild" to "medium" cardio and (groan) start hitting the gym. I think I'll do that on Saturday when I get to start adding some carbs back into the diet.

I still want carbs every time I think of them. English muffin, mmmm! Latte! Bagel! Grrrr! So much for this "cravings will go away" thing.

1. Good for you.
Hubby & I did 2 miles today. First time in weeks we've been able to get out. We made plans to go tomorrow too. Ate a healthy lunch & are having a healthy dinner.

That carb crave has never really gone away for me. When I absolutely have to have bread, I buy the best I can find. No fake stuff. If I'm gonna eat it, I'm gonna eat the best.

3. Walked two dogs for about 20 minutes,
one dog at a time. I was going to take all four, one at a time, but forgot about number one hazard when going for a walk -- neighbors!

Actually, I like this neighbor and hadn't seen her in a long time since I haven't gone for a walk in a long time! So tomorrow, I'll start with the other dogs first, just in case, but will hopefully get to all four. When I get them better leash-trained (ala "The Dog Whisperer") I'll try two and even four at a time!
