I've lost a bit off my waist and maybe a tad off my gut... nice to be just about a size 33 waist again. O8)
I've noticed some muscle mass building in my arms... which is damn encouraging and I can't wait to buy the 40lb dumbbells or the modular set and crank those puppies up. :woohoo:
But I still have lots of fatty deposits and sweat even on minor movement. :puke: And that ain't helpin' my eczema...
And having neglected some arm muscles, I have to re-use the 11lb dumbbells for those (the 25lb dumbbells or 50lb barbell is now standard issue to work with...)
And am resorting to using 11lb weights to mimic swimming, only so much so I don't impact the fused neck vertebrae... x(
Still, there is some real improvement and I hope to continue improving. I wanna look good by May, though realistically it'll be some time before the gut is gone.
Employers are said to hire people who are in shape and that's my goal. Even for my current employer; it'll help my self-esteem no end.
It'll help with mental acuity (blood flow) as well...

take a pill to get in shape and take a pill to eat everyday. I sometimes think that working out is the equivalent of having a part-time job. A job that I like to call in sick to a lot. I think you are doing really great on your workout. A 33-inch waist isn't anything to sneeze at!

barbells...
Doing rather better with the dumbbells now my arms are back from being sore. Rather easier to do reps with the 25LB units too. Can't wait to get the 40LB ones, but that's a month or two out... :D
