In praise of the headband

ok, so I know it looks all 70s and all, but it turns out that the headband serves a pretty useful purpose. Not only does it keep your hair out of your eyes, but the little bugger is absorbent... enough so that I don't need to wipe my face w/ a sweat towel every 30 seconds.

1. You might like these "stay put" headbands by Goody.

I love, love, love their stay put ponytail holders. They really do stay put better than the others. They have a rubber type coating that keeps them in place but they don't grab & pull at your hair. Not sure how they did that, but they are fantastic!
