1. Huffin' on the treadmill |

I didn't my mile. I continue to pick up conditioning. It takes me less time to recover when I stop now, which is good.
I think tomorrow I will try sprints and next week, I will try to sustain for 25 minutes at a stretch. That would make it about 1.25 miles in the morning.

40 minutes. I sweat like a pig. :D followed by 725 abs and 40 minutes of lower body weight training.
Feelin' good! It's the end of week 2, going 3x/wk.
I'm taking a 40 mile bike ride tomorrow.

My sandbag workout from 2 days ago left me with barely functional legs, so today was easy.
I've found my heart rate can hit 174 BPM when tossing the 80 lb bag in the area and catching it - I do a Zercher squat, three tosses, repeat. oy.

A really good backworkout, lets of pull ups, and bent over rows interwoven with an ab workout as well.
Then I finished out with 30 minutes on the bike. There going to need to buy a bike with higher settings at the gym because I'm edging towards the end of of what the damn thing can do. I think I'll break it before it breaks me in the next month...
I'm starting to run into this problem with the treadmill, can't really do HIIT if the highest it will go is only 10mph. Can't wait for the spring so I can do cross country running instead of this miserable indoor stuff. I think I'm going to take up squash since their are six courts in my gym and it seems like it would be fun and would work on my agility and hand eye coordination, another essential part to being a well rounded athlete.
