Those gym workouts are fiendish killers! |
|
They don't seem like much at the time, but they really catch up to you!
My swim club has started small-group workouts at a training facility, outfitted with every sort of shiny medieval implement of torture the fitness industry has to offer. Our trainer is also the conditioning coach for Cal Lutheran's basketball teams. So he knows how to work us.
We do an hour and a quarter of simple exercises mostly focusing on upper body, abs, glutes and hamstrings two mornings a week. Last night I crawled into bed at 6:00 pm and didn't get out until 7:30 am. Today I have delayed-onset soreness in the pecs, abs and glutes. Dang! They're GOOD!

"...outfitted with every sort of shiny medieval implement of torture the fitness industry has to offer." Sounds like fun! ;)
I love delayed-onset soreness.
