I've been swimming with paddles and going to the gym, so it's not unexpected. It's still startling to see muscles develop where I've never had them before.

This is the best part about getting into shape, seeing physical changes in your body. Once you get to that point you've made it, chances are you'll stick with it because you know changing your body isn't some impossible dream, but a very realistic possibility. It's just a matter of putting in the hours and watching the diet.

Last year they were sticklike. Now, no flab at all.
I have always had issues with upper-body strength, so my joy is double--to not only see it, but experience improved strength.

I remember last year when I was pulling my hair up & noticed the first little bit of definition in my triceps. Yowza!! What a great feeling, huh?
