Does anyone know how times for a pavement run compare to those for a trail run?

I'm considering doing an 8 mile trail race..bit only have solid surface experience..thanks

1. I've heard that you should drop 25% of your pace

on a trail v road. There's a lot more involved with trail running...more attention to be paid.

Not a runner, but talk to a few all the time and that's their take on it.

2. Thanks, that's what I've been thinking. I know I have to lift my feet up a lot more on a trail to

avoid obstacles!
